The Buddha Hall
Also called the "Main Hall," this is called in Chinese Da Xiong Bao Dian (XXXX), usually translated "The Precious Hall of the Great Hero." Some temples translate the term "Great Hero" by the Sanskrit "Mahavira," so you'll also see this called the "Mahavira Hall."
Those with three Buddhas (or just one)
Those with a Buddha and two Bodhisattvas
Those rare ones with other figures. In this case the hall is not called "Da Xiong Bao Dian" (since the "great hero" Shakyamuni is not there); it may be called the Buddha Hall or something else entirely.
